How a Model can easily be made :
Simplifying assumptions must be made
Boundary conditions must be identified
Range of applicability of model should be understood
'Y' Model..?
The reason for model is to quickly improve the design, implementation and management experience and complex distributed applications.
Model is used as a part of reality to influence, control, guide or direct what happens in the real world.

I think you will have to refer more often to Research . This ref is good example provided by Aboubakr on Referencing style
ReplyDeletePlease use this, I would like to see further improvement on post incorporating the above and also from [as mentioned before] Journal of KM
What you write in week3 topic, & reading the appropriate related material - how does that work in an organisation that you choose? (Say for example: Thomas Cook Travel Agent This organisation is just an example, you may select your own.
Abhi, u stated that philosophical thinking is necessary to make decisions in organisation.. upto what extent u can support this..
ReplyDeletei mean..
instead of philosophical thinking, is there any other form in existence so that a organisation can survive.. pls let me know..

ReplyDeleteAbhinay, I disagree where you said model can be easily made. Model cannot be made easily because it will have to take into account many other things. It is like for for example Car Manufacturer Honda.
To build the best car and beat other competitors out there [Ford, Nissan. etc] each they will have their own model to create the best engine.
What is 'Y' model? Is that a name of a model? or does it mean "Why the need for model?" I disagree the provided reason for model is to "quickly improve". A model to me is used to act as a guidance on how to help implement but not quickly because one
may work for one organisation but not for another.
Where is your references list?

ABHINAY.i agree with Ravi on the model issue that it is not that easy to make a model but as lot of things are taken into consideration.
ReplyDeletebut i have to say that at some palces it becomes easy to make things that have a particular model ,but at the same time it cannot be applied everywhere .
can u plz provide some refrences
This needs some serious help...?
ReplyDeletePut those ideas you discussed with me in the meetings...!
Please.... just do it.
